GLID Local0 would be the culprit causing a black screen where the login screen should be, and simply commenting it out does not help any. If you want to add your patch to the list, please attach it here.

I have also updated the iasl to a more recent build. Compaq doesn’t recognize what it Cpmpaq it is Of course, you could always do some google searching for the DSDT you are looking for, and maybe you’ll find a good one.
